About The Position

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room at a hospital in Fort Bragg, California. The position involves night shifts, working 12 hours per shift, for a total of 36 hours per week. The assignment is temporary and the hiring organization is Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Requirements

Active registered nurse (RN) license in California.
Current BLS certification.
Minimum 1 year of emergency department or acute care nursing experience.
Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, ensuring safe and efficient patient flow.
Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
Assess patient status, monitor changes, and respond promptly to evolving clinical conditions.
Document care accurately and communicate updates to the care team to support continuity of care.
Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
