About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in the Emergency Room (ER) in Colebrook, NH. This position requires the nurse to work 3x12hr shifts on nights, from 7p-7a, totaling 36 hours per week. The assignment begins on 10/19/2026. This role is specifically for a CHARGE RN and requires the candidate to have previous charge experience. The nurse will be responsible for keeping patients and their families informed, administering medication, responding to changes in patient health, maintaining patient charts, and utilizing basic math skills for dosage calculations. Collaboration with surgeons and other caregivers is essential for comprehensive patient care. The role involves standing for long periods, lifting moderate weight, and working in environments with potential infectious materials.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years current Emergency Room experience
  • Previous Charge experience required
  • EMR System: Epic EMR experience
  • Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
  • Active American Heart Association PALS certification
  • Active TNCC certification
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  • Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  • Able to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively
  • Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages
  • Candidates must have 2+ years ER experience AND experience working in a Critical Access Hospital.
  • Must be willing to take Stepdown patient and help with Med/Surg patients.
  • This position requires floating to Med/Surg & Stepdown.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous travel experience highly preferred
  • Previous experience working in a Critical Access Hospital is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Keeping patients and their families informed about surgical procedures
  • Administering medication and using medical equipment under the direction of a surgeon
  • Responding to sudden changes in patients’ health and managing occasional emergencies
  • Keeping good records and maintaining patients’ charts
  • Using basic math skills adequate for dosage calculations
  • Working with surgeons, medical/surgical nurses and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op
  • Standing for long periods, lifting moderate weight and working in environments where there may be infectious material
