About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) to join a busy Level II Trauma Center in Lubbock, Texas. This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid decision-making skills, and the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The RN will manage a diverse patient population with a strong focus on stabilization, triage, and acute care interventions.

Requirements

• Active Texas RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Strong experience in trauma and emergency care settings
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients independently
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct emergency nursing care for adult and pediatric patients
• Perform rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization of critical patients
• Manage cardiac and respiratory emergencies
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias
• Assist with emergency procedures and trauma response
• Collaborate with physicians, RTs, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to hospital protocols
