Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
Current licensure in Oregon as a Registered Nurse is required.
Have and maintain Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) / Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) / Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
TEAM or TNCC certification required.
At least one year Med/Surg nursing experience is required.
At least one-year Emergency nursing experience is required.

Nice To Haves

CEN certification desired.

Responsibilities

Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility indicative of professional expectations with a minimum of supervision.
Able to triage every patient that enters the emergency care system safely, rapidly, and accurately.
Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system.
Communicates with the Emergency Room Provider about changes in the patient’s status, symptoms, and results of diagnostic studies.
Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or responses to treatment.
