About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent ED RN experience and a proven track record in travel nursing. Pediatric ED experience is preferred and may be required. Proficiency with Epic EMR is essential, and Charge RN experience is highly preferred. This role requires a willingness to float as needed and an active New York RN license. All required AHA certifications, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC, must be current. A skills checklist matching the ED specialty is also required. A valid driver's license with an address matching submitted demographics is necessary. For travel candidates, a minimum distance of 75 miles from the facility is required. Local candidates residing within 75 miles may be considered at a local rate.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ED RN experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active New York RN license
• Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC

• RTO must be provided at time of submission
• Travel candidates: Must reside 75+ miles from the facility

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting any changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using Epic EMR.
• Float to other units as needed.
• Act as Charge RN when experience is applicable.
• Ensure all required certifications and licenses are current.
