About The Position

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Austell, GA. This is a 13-week contract with a start date of 09/14/2026. The role is based in a hospital-based emergency department setting. Weekly pay is estimated between $1,614–$1,726 per week. The shift is nights, working three 12-hour blocks. Guaranteed hours are not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license
• Knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics
• Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced emergency department environment
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Eligible to practice as an RN within the stated setting and compliant with standard nursing practice requirements

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the ED, including rapid triage, assessment, ongoing monitoring, and timely intervention for a diverse patient population.
• Administer medications, manage IVs and infusions, and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Monitor and interpret patient status, including vital signs and diagnostic results; escalate changes in condition according to protocol.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team; document care accurately in the medical record.
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and evidence-based practice; participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
