About The Position

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Radiology Nurse Educator to lead clinical education and professional development for radiology nurses and imaging professionals. This role supports onboarding, competency validation, and ongoing staff development to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. The position is full-time, with working hours from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, four 10-hour days.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years radiology nursing experience

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate orientation pathway of newly hired Radiology RNs and meet with orientees weekly with documented measurable goals.
  • Plan and deliver annual competency days for imaging professionals, with organized record keeping as per Joint commission standards.
  • Lead quarterly educational course sessions (Preceptor Development, IV Certification, Emergency Preparedness).
  • Coordinate and track required certifications (e.g., BLS).
  • Provide departmental in-services related to quality and patient safety measures.
  • Collaborate with Infection Prevention and Nursing Education teams.
  • Attend and contribute to monthly Unit Educator meetings; provide reports as needed to team and radiology leadership.
