About The Position

This full-time night position in the Emergency Department (ED) at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center requires a Registered Nurse/Educator who can utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. The role involves collaborating with the healthcare team through Shared Governance, focusing on evidence-based care within a healing culture. The candidate will embrace PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity, and Excellence) and demonstrate excellent communication and computer skills. Key responsibilities include developing educational opportunities, introducing new technologies, processes, and procedures using evidence-based practice, organizing and monitoring clinical competencies, auditing and developing compliance strategies for quality metrics, and reporting on quality metrics. The role also involves assisting with a stellar orientation program for new hires, including the AHS ED Residency Program.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
  • Collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
