About The Position

Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse Director for Cardiovascular Services. This full-time, day shift position offers an annual bonus incentive. The role involves driving the expansion of Cath Lab, IR, and outpatient procedural services through effective business planning, directing daily operations to ensure high-quality clinical care and seamless cross-departmental collaboration, and leading and mentoring a team of 15-20 individuals. The director will also manage budgets, build business cases for program expansion, and modernize workflows and infrastructure to support increasing patient volumes and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
  • 5 years of experience required.
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
  • Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.
  • 10 years of experience preferred.
  • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of RN experience in a procedural setting, such as an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), Cath Lab, or Interventional Radiology (IR).
  • 3+ years of progressive leadership experience leading teams, operations, or clinical programs within a procedural or outpatient setting.
  • Demonstrated success building and growing clinical programs, including developing workflows, improving operational performance, and expanding service lines.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the expansion of Cath Lab, IR, and outpatient procedural services through effective business planning.
  • Direct daily operations, ensuring high-quality clinical care and seamless cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 15–20, including hiring and training new supervisors for key areas.
  • Utilize financial acumen to manage budgets and build compelling business cases for program expansion.
  • Modernize workflows and scale infrastructure to support increasing patient volumes and operational efficiency.
