About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care, specifically with patients requiring advanced cardiac and vascular support. This role demands a compassionate and detail-oriented professional committed to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months recent Heart, Vascular, and Thoracic/ICU experience.
• 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel assignments.
• Permanent Ohio License or Compact State License in hand.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• AHA ACLS certification required.
• NIHHS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions.
