The Critical Care Nurse is responsible for providing high quality care to patients who require an intermediate level of care. He/She/They has responsibility for all care given to the patient, from medication administration to constant monitoring of the patient for any changes in condition. The Critical Care Nurse collaborates with other disciplines and units, as appropriate, and utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient outcomes.
