Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care - Cath Lab Flex Team
About The Position
HSHS is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cath Lab Flex Team, providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures at both St. Vincent Hospital and St. Nicholas Hospital. This role is ideal for patient-focused, mission-driven individuals who thrive in a flexible environment and are committed to delivering high-quality care across multiple locations based on patient and provider needs. The position is part-time, 32 hours per week, with day shifts from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. The role requires 9-10 days of on-call monthly and involves working at primarily St. Nicholas Hospital (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and St. Vincent Hospital (Tuesday, Thursday), with daily assignments and work locations potentially varying based on provider schedules, patient volumes, and departmental needs. The nurse will remain part of the Cath Lab on-call rotation. The pay range is $36.50 - $55.50 per hour, with the actual rate determined by experience, skills, training, certifications, and education. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available for candidates with 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are required based on the patient population in the specialty area worked.
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred.
- Critical Care Nursing experience is preferred.
- Specialty certifications based on patient population such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) are preferred.
- 2 years Cath Lab experience needed for sign-on bonus.
