We are seeking a driven, dedicated, and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our Cardiac Cath Lab who can create and nurture meaningful relationships with their team, patients, and loved ones, while balancing integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence.
Requirements
- New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification required from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
Nice To Haves
- Passion for cardiology
- 1+ years of experience in a Procedural or Critical Care Unit (CCU, ICU, CTICU, CVICU, etc.) preferred
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage overall care for patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures. This includes sedation, preservation of the sterile field, ACLS management, documentation, etc.
- Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.
