As a Nurse Coordinator, you will be stationed at the Towson hospital campus working Day and Evening shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., 36 hours weekly with rotating weekends. This position supports two units: the Adult Co-Occurring Disorders Unit and the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit. The Co-Occurring Disorders Unit is a safe and welcoming inpatient unit designed for adults (18-65) experiencing multiple mental health conditions, potentially including a substance use disorder. It serves as a starting point for recovery during a crisis. The Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit is a safe and welcoming 22-bed inpatient unit for adults with mental illness, typically admitted for suicidal ideation, attempts, severe anxiety, or unsafe behavior. It treats disorders such as major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, dissociative disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
