About The Position

This role involves leading clinical excellence in Pediatric Bleeding and Clotting Disorders by developing and refining evidence-based nursing policies, patient care plans, and therapy programs. The coordinator will drive care delivery by ensuring seamless execution of patient therapy plans with the necessary medical equipment, tools, and resources. They will empower and guide nursing staff through direct clinical leadership, mentorship, and day-to-day oversight, fostering a high-performing care environment. Additionally, the role requires maintaining complete, quality care records by coordinating and streamlining essential clinical documentation to guarantee regulatory compliance and seamless continuity of care.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Minimum of 3 years in pediatric hematology/oncology or 5 years in general pediatrics; candidates with adult hematology experience will also be considered.
