RN Registered Nurse Clinical Nurse Manager | Burn ICU
About The Position
This role involves leading daily operations, nursing workflow, and staffing for the Burn ICU within the Burn Care Center. The manager will support patients with complex burn injuries through every stage of critical care. Key responsibilities include hiring, coaching, and developing nurses to build a skilled team that provides compassionate, specialized care. The manager will also partner with physicians and other disciplines to address barriers to care and support coordinated treatment. Advancing quality and safety through clinical policies, performance monitoring, and compliance with regulatory and Burn Care Center accreditation requirements is crucial. Additionally, the role requires responsible management of staffing and resources while supporting a positive experience for patients, families, and associates.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
