About The Position

This role involves coordination and leadership within the OB High Risk department at Ascension St John Medical Center. The Registered Nurse Clinical Lead will be responsible for coordinating unit staffing, ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives, and maintaining quality patient care. This includes assigning, directing, educating, and monitoring nursing and support staff during shifts, assessing daily patient care needs, developing patient care assignments, and managing productivity standards. The role also involves ensuring the availability of necessary materials and resources, setting priorities based on patient and physician needs, and providing input into staff hiring, training, development, and evaluation.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

Coordinating unit staffing and providing leadership to ensure the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care.
Assigning, directing, educating, and monitoring nursing and support associates during assigned shifts.
Assessing daily patient care needs, developing and distributing patient care assignments, and being accountable for productivity standards.
Facilitating the availability of adequate material, resources, and supplies, and setting priorities appropriate to daily patient/physician dynamics.
Providing input into the hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluation of staff.
