About The Position
Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse Clinical Lead for the Observation unit. This full-time position is responsible for directing and mentoring nursing and support staff, applying independent judgment to plan shift workflows and patient care delivery, assessing patient needs for balanced assignments, resolving patient care concerns, and ensuring the team has necessary supplies and resources.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
Responsibilities
- Direct and mentor nursing and support staff to foster a collaborative and high-performing shift environment.
- Apply independent judgment to plan shift workflows, services, and patient care delivery.
- Assess daily patient’s needs to create balanced assignments that ensure clinical excellence and meet productivity standards.
- Resolve patient care concerns and complaints promptly through established professional channels.
- Ensure the team has immediate access to the essential supplies and resources needed for success.
