About The Position

This role involves leading patient care journeys by implementing and adapting individualized care plans to improve health outcomes. The nurse will monitor and advocate for patient wellness by tracking clinical conditions and communicating updates to the care team. This position also coordinates multidisciplinary care by acting as a liaison between physicians, specialists, and families, and drives successful transitions by assessing and managing discharge planning.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

Certification specializing in Chemotherapy preferred.
Minimum of 1 year in pediatric hematology/oncology, or 2 years in inpatient pediatric or adult hematology.
