About The Position

Join our amazing Saint Luke's Physician Group as a Clinic Float RN! This is a Full Time Days position, Monday - Friday. Requires MO and KS RN and BLS. You will float to our South Region, which includes clinics on or near the Saint Luke’s South campus and Mission Farms. Differential wage rates are offered for clinic float pool positions based on tier (Tier 1 = 1 region, Tier 2 = 2 regions, Tier 3 = 3 or 4 regions). In a clinic setting, you will provide professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Responsibilities include telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care. You will schedule emergent need patient appointments, identify learning needs for patients and families, provide advice and recommendations, insert intravenous access with medication administration, and perform other duties as assigned based on clinic need. You will delegate tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice. You will act as a subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing. You will enter admission orders as directed by the provider and be responsible for managing expired samples. The role requires the ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously, with excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor at all times. You may be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties, LPN job duties, or other office duties as needed.

Requirements

  • MO and KS RN Required
  • BLS Required
  • Less than 1 year Applicable Experience
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Registered Nurse - Various
  • Associate Degree

Responsibilities
