About The Position
The Registered Nurse protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of licensure. The nurse collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to coordinate care across the continuum, assesses and supports physical symptoms, and provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families. The role also mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains a professional disposition at all times.
Requirements
- Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing in the appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Six months of experience as an RN in a healthcare environment.
- Basic proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft applications.
