Requirements

• Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Actively implementing and adjusting care plans while keeping a constant pulse on the patient's status.
• Translating physician and nursing orders into action and documenting outcomes for the rest of the medical team.
• Serving as the primary point of contact between different medical disciplines to prevent "silos" in treatment.
• Assessing the patient’s evolving needs and pulling in the necessary healthcare team members to meet them.
