About The Position
This role is for a Registered Nurse specializing in PCU and CCU Float at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN. The position is full-time and involves night shifts. The nurse will be responsible for executing and adjusting care plans, communicating clinical information, liaising between medical disciplines, and coordinating resources to meet evolving patient needs.
Requirements
- Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Actively implementing and adjusting care plans while keeping a constant pulse on the patient's status.
- Translating physician and nursing orders into action and documenting outcomes for the rest of the medical team.
- Serving as the primary point of contact between different medical disciplines to prevent "silos" in treatment.
- Assessing the patient’s evolving needs and pulling in the necessary healthcare team members to meet them.
