About The Position

This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) located in Apple Valley, California. The shift is days, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a schedule of 4x10s.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience.
• Strong cardiac assessment and critical care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Previous experience administering moderate sedation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications and sedation as ordered.
• Assist cardiologists during cardiac interventions and specialized procedures.
• Assess and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to patient safety, infection control, and quality care standards.
