About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab evaluates, plans, and provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures. This role involves monitoring patients' status, interpreting diagnostic data, administering medications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. The RN will maintain sterile technique, follow established protocols, policies, and procedures, and educate patients and families as appropriate.
Requirements
- Cath Lab experience required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Must have a Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice professional nursing in the state of Kentucky
- Current BCLS and ACLS upon hire
- Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patient, guest, physicians, and other employees
