Registered Nurse Case Manager (1099) – Savannah, GA
About The Position
The IMA Group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Case Manager who is also a Registered Certified Rehab Supplier with the State of Georgia to join their 1099 network in the Savannah, Georgia area. This role is ideal for an experienced workers’ compensation nurse case manager looking to supplement an existing caseload or build a consistent referral base. The position offers flexible, self-managed scheduling, freedom to manage your own territory and caseload, meaningful field-based work supporting injured workers, collaborative support from an experienced interdisciplinary team, and the opportunity to grow with a nationally recognized organization. The IMA Group's Government Services Division supports local, state, and federal agencies, their Payer Services Division meets the evaluation and screening needs of Carriers, TPAs, Public Entities and Employers, and their Clinical Research Division performs Phase II-IV clinical trials.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Registered Certified Rehab Supplier with the State of Georgia
- Minimum 3 years of workers’ compensation case management experience
- Strong documentation and computer skills
- Professional liability/malpractice insurance (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation for local travel
- Personal computer and phone access

Responsibilities
- Provide medical case management for workers’ compensation cases
- Coordinate care between physicians, providers, employers, adjusters, attorneys, and carriers
- Assess treatment plans for medical necessity, appropriateness, and cost efficiency
- Attend medical appointments and facilitate communication among stakeholders
- Assist with Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs) and job site evaluations as needed
- Monitor recovery progress and provide timely recommendations regarding return-to-work planning
- Maintain accurate, organized documentation and reporting
