About The Position
Ascension St. Vincent's Southside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Cardiovascular PRN position on the day shift. This role involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating care among different disciplines, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders, and assessing discharge planning needs. Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the health-care team.
