Registered Nurse - Cardiac 400 E South - Full Time - Day Shift
About The Position
CoxHealth South is seeking a Registered Nurse for their 4E Cardiac Telemetry unit. This is a full-time, day shift position with 12-hour shifts. The unit cares for a variety of patients with personalized needs and multiple comorbidities. The team is described as fun-loving and supportive, aiming to make a difference in patients' lives while fostering a positive work environment. The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing patient care, including assessing patient condition, administering medications, changing dressings, monitoring vital signs, keeping records, and providing patient and family education. This role requires broad medical care knowledge to manage a diverse patient population.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
- BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- RN license active in the state of Missouri.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate effective leadership abilities.
- Exhibits valuable time management skills.
- Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Previous nursing experience
