The 4E Cardiac Telemetry unit is described as a telemetry med-surg unit where staff can expect to see, learn, and do a variety of tasks. The unit cares for patients with diverse needs and multiple comorbidities. The team is characterized as fun-loving and supportive, aiming to create a positive work environment while making a difference in patients' lives. The role involves managing the care of patients experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures, including assessing patient condition, administering medications, changing dressings, monitoring vital signs, keeping records, and providing patient and family support and education. The Registered Nurse is expected to maintain a wide array of medical care knowledge to care for a diverse patient population.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
  • RN license active in the state of Missouri
  • BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire
