About The Position

CoxHealth South is seeking a Registered Nurse for their 4E Cardiac Telemetry unit. This is a part-time, night shift position with a weekend option, offering 12-hour shifts. The unit specializes in telemetry med-surg care for patients with diverse medical conditions and comorbidities. The team is described as fun-loving and supportive, aiming to make work enjoyable while making a difference. The role involves managing patient care, assessing conditions, administering medications, wound care, monitoring vital signs, record-keeping, and providing patient/family education. A broad knowledge of medical care is necessary to serve a varied patient population.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
RN license active in the state of Missouri.
BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrate effective leadership abilities.
Exhibits valuable time management skills.
Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Previous nursing experience.
