Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac/Telemetry Unit on a full-time day shift. This role is ideal for RNs with at least one year of acute care experience in a cardiac, telemetry, or stepdown setting who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac/Telemetry Unit, you will provide individualized bedside care utilizing the nursing process, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure the highest quality outcomes for our cardiac patients. Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service
- Basic computer proficiency
- Leadership qualities and ability to mentor junior staff when needed
- Minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience in Cardiac, Telemetry, CVICU, or ICU settings
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Current RN license in the State of Arizona (or eligible)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – required upon completion of orientation
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years in a cardiac stepdown or progressive care unit
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Responsibilities
- Delivering direct patient care in accordance with the nursing process and hospital policies
- Collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans
- Supervising and delegating tasks to other members of the healthcare team
- Participating in quality and safety initiatives
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to safety protocols
