About The Position

Maintains an in-depth knowledge of principles, practices, standards, and techniques and demonstrates knowledge in accordance with GSHCS policies and procedures. Position requires an individual that is not only self-motivated but can motivate patients to achieve optimal results from the program. The Nurse should be proficient in EKG rhythm recognition and understand specific cardiac disease progression related to cardiac rehabilitation. The nurse should also be familiar with current medication management practices for post cardiac event patient.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Evidence of continuing education is appropriate for skill level and area of practice.
Current RN license in the State of Oregon & BLS.
5 years as a registered nurse.
