About The Position
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in Cardiovascular Telemetry at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN. The role involves delivering direct nursing care, managing patient care plans, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and planning for patient discharge.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Delivering direct nursing care while strictly adhering to organizational protocols and physician orders.
- Implementing, monitoring, and adjusting individualized patient care plans based on real-time assessments.
- Serving as the central hub for all medical disciplines (doctors, therapists, specialists) to ensure unified patient treatment.
- Evaluating and organizing the resources and steps necessary for a patient’s safe transition out of the facility.
