About The Position

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to cardiac and medical-surgical patients by implementing individualized care plans that support recovery and positive clinical outcomes. Monitor, assess, and communicate changes in patient condition to ensure timely interventions and coordinated care across the healthcare team. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and support services to provide seamless, patient-centered care throughout the hospitalization. Administer treatments and carry out physician and nursing orders accurately while promoting patient safety and clinical excellence. Coordinate discharge planning and patient education to support successful transitions of care, improve recovery, and reduce readmissions.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board ofNursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
