About The Position
This is a full-time, night shift position for a Registered Nurse in the Behavioral Health department at Ascension Saint Thomas Stones River in Woodbury, TN. The role involves providing specialized patient care, conducting bio-psychosocial assessments, developing nursing care plans, participating in multidisciplinary team conferences, executing care plans, facilitating group therapy, and evaluating intervention outcomes.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized patient care following facility policies and established clinical procedures.
- Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments to develop nursing care plans aligned with master treatment goals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences to refine age-specific goals and clinical interventions.
- Execute nursing care plans and facilitate or co-lead patient group therapy sessions.
- Monitor intervention outcomes and collaborate with the team to adjust care plans based on patient progress.
