About The Position

Ascension Saint Thomas Stones River in Woodbury, TN is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for their Behavioral Health department. This day shift position involves providing specialized patient care, conducting bio-psychosocial assessments, developing nursing care plans, participating in multidisciplinary conferences, executing care plans, and facilitating group therapy sessions. The role also includes monitoring intervention outcomes and adjusting care plans based on patient progress.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized patient care following facility policies and established clinical procedures.
• Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments to develop nursing care plans aligned with master treatment goals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences to refine age-specific goals and clinical interventions.
• Execute nursing care plans and facilitate or co-lead patient group therapy sessions.
• Monitor intervention outcomes and collaborate with the team to adjust care plans based on patient progress.
