About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse Assistant Manager in the In-Patient Adult Psychiatry Nursing Unit at Ascension St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. The position is full-time, working days. The Assistant Manager will drive clinical excellence by identifying and resolving barriers to patient care, ensuring high-quality service. They will cultivate a high-performing team through staff development, including hiring, training, mentoring, and evaluating. The role involves designing the future of care by developing and implementing unit-specific policies and quality monitoring systems for safety and efficiency. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will champion the patient and provider experience by balancing budgetary goals with staff and physician needs.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
