The Medical Surgical unit is a 25-bed semi-private unit caring for a variety of adult patient conditions, involving medication administration, vital sign monitoring, dressing changes, patient education, care plan coordination, and medical information evaluation.

Requirements

• 1+ years of clinical RN experience
• Associates of Nursing (ASN)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may be considered with over two years of acute care experience, subject to CNO approval)
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies

Responsibilities

• Administer medications
