About The Position
Cherokee Nation Home Health Services is a non-profit health care agency that has been in business for over 40 years. Although our main office is located in Tahlequah (Cherokee County), we have clinical staff that provides health care services to 14+ surrounding counties. A qualified Start of Care Registered Nurse makes the initial evaluation visit, initiates the plan of care, and administers skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services/Nursing Supervisor.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
- Currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in nursing.
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) years of experience in nursing is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Makes the initial evaluation visit.
- Initiates the plan of care.
- Administers skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence.
- Performs duties in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services/Nursing Supervisor.
