About The Position

The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the nursing unit manager or director of nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. As a member of the nursing department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
  • A valid driver's license and licensed/registered vehicle is required.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in an integrated interdisciplinary team
  • A demonstrated ability to meet and work with clients
  • Ability to manage crisis situations in clinical areas relevant to the position
  • Sound judgment, tact, initiative and high standards of integrity/responsibility

Nice To Haves

  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
