Sawgrass GI Clinic Nurse - Registered Nurse 2, Outpatient
About The Position
The Registered Nurse 2 provides competent direct patient care in an outpatient GI and Hepatology clinic under the direction of leadership and in accordance with established standards. The position includes telephone triage, immunizations and injections, and office-based procedures. The nurse contributes to unit activities and helps improve the care delivery system while working with nurses, support staff, physicians, and advanced practice practitioners affiliated with an academic medical center. The role also supports peers and may include precepting new staff and participating in committee work. The position is part time, 20 hours per week, on days.
Requirements
- Active New York State RN license.
- Excellent assessment skills.
- Computer skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize patient care.
