Ambulatory Urology Department @ Sawgrass – Registered Nurse 2, Outpatient
About The Position
The Registered Nurse 2 provides competent direct patient care under the direction of leadership, following established standards. The role contributes to unit activities and supports improvements to the unit-level care delivery system. It also supports peers in delivering patient care and may include expanded responsibilities such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member duties. This full-time position is based in the Ambulatory Urology Department at the Sawgrass location, serving outpatients in fast-paced clinical and procedural areas. The nurse collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to provide complex, safe, and efficient care to patients and their families. Training is provided in performing urodynamic testing. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with variable hours.
Requirements
- New York State nursing licensure is required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability and desire to teach and educate patients.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
