About The Position

The Registered Medication Aide delivers individualized care according to each resident’s care plan, reports changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team, and builds compassionate, positive connections with residents and their families. The role also involves ongoing learning and development, protecting confidential resident information, and performing other duties as assigned. This is a full-time, first-shift position at Bellaire at Stone Port in Harrisonburg, Virginia, with an hourly salary range of $19.00 to $22.00.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Certification indicating successful completion of a Registered Medication Aide (RMA) program in the State of Virginia.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience.
• Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
• Comply with rules and regulations regarding the confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
