About The Position
Burra Hospital is a small but vital rural health service located in the picturesque township of Burra, South Australia. It offers 5 acute inpatient beds and 16 MPS aged care beds, providing services such as 24-hour accident and emergency care, acute inpatient care, palliative care services, and residential aged care. Requirements
- Registration or eligibility for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Undergo employment screening.
- Meet immunisation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver direct care to acute patients.
- Plan and deliver direct care to residential aged care residents.
- Plan and deliver direct care to patients presenting to the emergency department.
- Work across all areas of the service in a supported and flexible environment.
- Develop new skills and expand clinical knowledge in rural healthcare.
