About The Position

DiningRD is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian for skilled care and assisted living communities. This role involves onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours and may include temporary coverage for facilities in the St. Louis, MO area with some paid travel. Requirements

  • Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
  • Licensed (if required by State)
  • CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required)
  • State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required)
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to represent the company in a professional manner
  • Enjoy coaching and mentoring others

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of consulting experience is preferred
  • Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required
  • clinical nutrition: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Complete onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours.
  • Provide temporary coverage for Skilled facilities in and around St. Louis, MO with weekly visits.
  • Improve the lives of seniors by ensuring their meals meet high nutritional standards.
  • Work closely with the clinical team to monitor the nutritional needs of residents.
  • Provide nutrition education.
  • Work on an MDS with the team.
  • Formulate nutrition assessments with input from the dining manager.
  • Provide guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Train and provide guidance to dining managers and staff.
  • Assist with policy development.
  • Monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems.
