About The Position

DiningRD is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian/s for skilled care communities. This part-time position requires onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours, averaging 16 hours a month. The role focuses on improving the lives of seniors by ensuring their meals meet high nutritional standards. The Registered Dietitian will work closely with the clinical team to monitor residents' nutritional needs, provide nutrition education, contribute to MDS assessments, and formulate nutrition assessments with input from the dining manager. The position also involves providing guidance on dining services, including meal rounds, sanitation best practices, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Additionally, the dietitian will train and guide dining managers and staff, assist with policy development, and monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems.

Requirements

Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
Licensed (if required by State)
CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required)
State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required)
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
Enjoy coaching and mentoring others.

Nice To Haves

2 years of consulting experience is preferred.
Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required.
clinical nutrition: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Complete onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours.
