About The Position

DiningRD is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian/s for skilled care communities. Candidate must be able to complete onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours. This position involves 10-12 hours per week with some remote work allowed, and includes monthly sanitation audits. The role focuses on improving the lives of seniors by ensuring their meals meet high nutritional standards. The Registered Dietitian works closely with the clinical team to monitor resident nutritional needs, provide nutrition education, contribute to MDS assessments, and formulate nutrition assessments with input from the dining manager. Responsibilities also include providing guidance on dining services, meal rounds, sanitation best practices, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role involves training and guiding dining managers and staff, assisting with policy development, and monitoring the implementation of nutritional care systems.

Requirements

  • Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
  • Licensed (if required by State)
  • CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required)
  • State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required)
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to represent the company in a professional manner
  • Enjoy coaching and mentoring others

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of consulting experience is preferred
  • Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required
  • clinical nutrition: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Complete onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours.
