About The Position
Lahser Hills Care Centre is hiring a Registered Dietitian to assess, develop, and direct the overall nutrition plan of care for each guest. The role includes collaborating with and encouraging guests and families to participate in care-plan development. The Registered Dietitian also keeps current with emerging trends and research related to dietetics and educates culinary staff on topics relevant to human nutrition and culinary service.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition from a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Current registration status in Michigan; must be a Registered Dietitian.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide nutrition services appropriate to residents’ age-related needs.
- Knowledge of dietary practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities.
- Must be eligible to work in healthcare as part of the State of Michigan Background Check Required process.
