About The Position
Hardin Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to plan, direct, and evaluate total nursing care and functions in the Med/Surg unit. The role works under general supervision and follows the established patient care plan and the organization’s philosophy. The position reports to the Med Surg Department Director of Nursing and/or designee.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree required.
- Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Tennessee.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, per HMC policy.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association, per HMC policy.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through the American Heart Association, per HMC policy.
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting is preferred.
