About The Position

DiningRD is actively seeking Registered Dietitians for skilled care communities. This part-time role involves onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours, with an average of 16 hours per month, and potential for more hours if travel is involved. The company focuses on improving the lives of seniors through high-quality food and nutrition programs, supported by experienced registered dietitians. DiningRD has been providing dietitian consulting and menu services since 1994 to thousands of healthcare communities across the US.

Requirements

Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials.
Licensed (if required by State).
CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required).
State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required).
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
Enjoy coaching and mentoring others.

Nice To Haves

2 years of consulting experience.
Experience in Long Term Care.

Responsibilities

Complete onsite visits to skilled care communities.
Monitor the nutritional needs of residents in collaboration with the clinical team.
Provide nutrition education.
Work on MDS with the team.
Formulate nutrition assessments with input from the dining manager.
Provide guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices.
Ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Train and provide guidance to dining managers and staff.
Assist with policy development.
Monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems.
